We understand that parents need reliable and trustworthy childcare and that children need a fun and enjoyable experience. We deliver this at our three venues and holiday club in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Mission statement
This statement outlines the services children, parents/carers, staff, and the community can expect from Fireflies childcare and the values that inform our work.
We aim to:
- Create a friendly, relaxed, and safe environment where children can confidently express their individuality.
We will:
- Provide activities which take into account equality and diversity, age and abilities.
- In line with the School’s ‘Golden rules’, we will help children develop responsibility for themselves and their actions and become competent, confident, independent and cooperative individuals, and encourage children to have a positive attitude and respect for themselves and other people.
- Promote a positive relationship with parents/carers and work with them to provide high-quality play and care for their children.
- Evaluate and monitor our service regularly to ensure that the Club meets the needs of children and parents/carers.

- Listening and responding to their views and concerns.
- Keeping parents/carers informed of our policies and procedures, including opening times, fees, and activities programmes.
- Sharing and discussing their child’s achievements, experiences, progress and friendships, along with any difficulties that may arise.

- A space for children to relax and enjoy some quiet time after the school day.

- Access to a variety of facilities and equipment under safe and supervised conditions.

- An environment where children are safe from bullying or discrimination in any form.
